Having vision to create the first vegetarian restaurant in Singapore, prompting Mr Ho CS and the, Japanese Chef Mr Yasui Masa to form Zen Japanese Vegetarian Restaurant (‘Zen’) in March 2010.
In its second year of operation, the restaurant started to garner rave reviews from the customers and food websites.
Riding the popularity of Zen, Mr Ho expanding its business by converting the, then vegetarian restaurant Luo Han Vegetarian into a Japanese-Western fusion vegetarian restaurant. Eventually, Herbivore Japanese & Western vegetarian restaurant was established in July 2011.
However, due to the en-bloc exercise at the premise where Zen located at, Mr Ho decided to merge the business of Zen and Herbivore and to operate it as one and only Herbivore Restaurant which is located at Fortune Centre.
Herbivore serves pure vegetarian cuisine prepared in Japanese and Western style.
Our menu is specially crafted to offer a wide variety of choices using the finest and freshness natural as well as organic ingredients.
Mr Ho, a vegetarian himself for more than 23 years, has been actively creating new dinning choices which will attract more vegetarian and non-vegetarians to enjoy vegetarian cuisines.
